The seat is carved from a single slab from a 200 year old tree that was tapped for making maple syrup, evidenced by the visible taphole. This piece celebrates the long life of a Vermont sugar maple.

"This piece has such an amazing story, and I love the porportions of the log with the more delicate back. It has such a great sense of heritage while also feeling fresh, and right at home in a contemporary environment. Great conversation piece for an entry or living space."

Care Instructions:
Regularly dust with a soft cloth to prevent dust build up on your furniture. Use a slightly damp cloth with a small amount of mild dish soap or a gentle furniture cleaner to wipe the surfaces when necessary. Never use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or strong solvents, these will damage the finish. Clean up any spills that may happen as soon as possible to prevent staining or long-term damage to the finish.
