Fragments Astraux

Fragment Astral I - IV is a series of small votive brass plaques conceived as mineral fragments, ritual tablets, or remnants of an unknown celestial language. Their uneven surface evokes erosion, pressure, fire, and excavation. The work can be read as a contemporary relic: neither decorative nor purely sculptural, but situated between object, sign, and offering. Through this series, Solène Kerlo explores the idea of the plaque as a carrier of memory: a surface where matter seems to have recorded the trace of an ancient gesture, a vanished myth, or a buried constellation.
